How CombaTON collects, uses, and protects your data
01.Information We Collect
When you use CombaTON through the Telegram WebApp, we collect the following information: - Telegram user data: your Telegram user ID, username, display name, and language preference as provided by the Telegram WebApp SDK. - Wallet addresses: if you connect a TON wallet, we store your public wallet address for transaction processing. - Game data: character progress, inventory, battle history, crafting logs, trade records, and all in-game activity. - Device information: browser type, screen resolution, and platform for optimization purposes. - Usage analytics: session duration, feature usage, and navigation patterns to improve gameplay experience.
02.How We Use Information
Your information is used exclusively for the following purposes: - Gameplay: to authenticate your identity, maintain your game state, process in-game transactions, and deliver real-time updates via WebSocket. - Analytics: to understand player behavior, identify bugs, and optimize game performance. - Improvements: to balance game mechanics, develop new features, and enhance the overall player experience. - Communication: to send important game notifications through the Telegram bot (battle results, loot drops, guild events). - Security: to detect and prevent cheating, botting, exploits, and unauthorized access.
03.Blockchain Data
CombaTON operates on the TON (The Open Network) blockchain. Please be aware that: - All on-chain transactions, including $CBT token transfers, NFT minting, and wallet interactions, are publicly visible on the TON blockchain. - Blockchain transactions are immutable and cannot be deleted or modified once confirmed. - Your public wallet address and transaction history are permanently recorded on-chain. - We do not control the TON blockchain and cannot alter or remove on-chain data. - Off-chain game data (Gold balance, inventory, combat logs) is stored on our servers and is not publicly accessible.
04.Data Storage & Security
We take the security of your data seriously: - Game data is stored in encrypted PostgreSQL databases with regular backups. - Authentication uses Telegram's HMAC signature validation combined with JWT tokens. - All combat calculations are processed server-side to prevent manipulation. - In-game wallet seeds are encrypted at rest. - API communications are secured via HTTPS. - Redis caching layers are used for performance but do not store permanent personal data. - We retain your game data for the duration of your account's existence. Inactive accounts may be archived after 12 months of inactivity.
05.Third-Party Services
CombaTON integrates with the following third-party services: - Telegram: we operate as a Telegram WebApp (MiniApp). Your interaction is governed by Telegram's own Privacy Policy. We receive only the data Telegram provides through the WebApp SDK. - TON Blockchain: on-chain operations are processed through the TON network. Transactions are subject to TON's network rules and are publicly visible. - TON Connect: wallet connection is facilitated through TON Connect protocol. We only store your public wallet address, never your private keys. - We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
06.Children's Privacy
CombaTON is not designed for or directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@combaton.io and we will take steps to remove that information from our systems. Users must comply with Telegram's minimum age requirements to access the platform.
07.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. - Material changes will be announced through the Telegram bot and in-game notifications. - The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy will be revised accordingly. - Continued use of CombaTON after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. - We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
